GROUND

Area is arid desert with small pockets of green land. The area is moderately mountainous. Roads are developed in some areas including the MSR from Checkpoint KAMJHEDE where others are dirt roads that connect town to town.


SITUATION

6 Troop and 36 Commando Btn IAF have established FOB Charles inside Syria. ISIS forces in the North have been cut off from the South of Al-Hawl after successful missions last week. Iraqi forces are currently eliminating the remainder of these forces.

Last weeks operation indicated further ISIS troops South of the MSR spreading out into villages.

PROBABLE MISSION

Assist Iraqi forces in eliminating any opposition in the north

Cut ISIS forces off from western end of MSR

Locate ISIS positions within Villages

Assist 6 troop with Recce, Transport and Airstrikes/CAS.

Contact: Return fire and eliminate.
Out of Ammo: Contact Troop Sergeant and await instructions. @C. Hall

CASUALTIES

T1/T2: Liaison with Troop Sergeant. @C. Hall
T3: Liaison promptly with Troop Sergeant and Med Asst will then assess.
T4: Contact Platoon Sergeant for recovery. Reinsert provided by rotary.
